Your VMG5304 is intended for IP-based connections (Voice over IP) without the use
of a splitter (telephony over the Internet).
Here you see a possible connection scenario for your home network.

NOTE
For the conversion of an existing standard or universal connection (ISDN) to a
connection with IP-based telephony, please first remove any existing devices such
as splitters, NTBA or PBX connections. Disconnect all cables connected to the
telephone socket. For more information about the type of your broadband con-
nection, please refer to the order confirmation.
