Safety instructions
• Do not leave the mower in closed areas after switching off -
allow it to cool off in the open air before storing away.
• Never keep the machine with petrol in the tank within a building
in which gasoline vapours may possibly come into contact with
naked flames or sparks. Before leaving the mower remove the
spark plug lead and - if fitted - the starting key.
• Lifting and carrying the mower for transport:
• Never attempt to lift the mower with the engine running - nor with
a hot engine - always remove the spark plug lead before lifting or
carrying.
• When folding the mower handlebars, detach starter rope
and make certain that the control cables are not snagged or
stretched when folding or unfolding.
•
lways carry out the engine oil change with the fuel tank empty
and filler cap fitted. The engine should be warmed up prior to
draining the oil to ensure all sludge deposits are drained away
with the oil.
Maintenance
• Regularly examine all fixing bolts and nuts, particularly those of
the cutter bar, for tightness.
• Maintenance and cleaning of the equipment as well as remov-
ing the protection device may only be performed with the engine
stopped and the spark plug lead and - if available - the starting
key, removed.

Fixing of handle
B C
TTENTION! Take care that theswitch cable does not become
caught and crused when folding the handle frame.
1. Fold the handle bar toward the back ( ).
2. Set the handle to the desired height and tighten the two
wing nuts (B).
Operation
Mowing
Hanging the grass bag N
Only when mower is stationary and rotating blade
has come to complete standstill.
1. Lift the protective flap.
2. Hang the grass bag in the chassis with the hooks in the
recesses (see arrow).
3. Replace the protective flap
Emptying the grass bag R
Only when mower is stationary and rotating blade
has come to complete standstill.
• When the grass bag is full, the flap lowers automatically.
• To ensure proper functioning: clean the holes beneath
the level indicator in the grass bag regularly with a hand
brush.

Note information on the chassis before cleaning and oil change!
• Make certain that all nuts, pins and screws are firmly tightened
and that the unit is in a safe operating condition.
• In order to avoid the risk of fire keep the engine, exhaust, bat-
tery box and the area around the fuel tank free of grass, leaves
or oil.
• If the equipment must be tilted for maintenance work then the
fuel must be completely drained from the tank beforehand.
• Clean the equipment after each use with a hand-brush - not
with water and do not hose down with a high pressure hose
in particular. Make certain to keep the engine cooling fins and
engine cooling air intake clean and free from debris.
• Do not place the equipment in damp areas, near naked flames
or where a spark might ignite petrol vapour.
• If the fuel tank is to be emptied then this should be done out-
doors. Make sure that no fuel is spilled.
• For safety reasons replace worn out or damaged parts.
• NOTE! lways have blades replaced or sharpened by a WOLF
Service Centre, as a blade balance test must be performed in
accordance with safety regulations and the blade retaining bolt
must be tightened to a specified torque.
• Wear suitable work gloves when carrying out the above work,
especially when handling the blade.
3. Fold the upper handle up and screw it tight with the two
wing nuts (C).

Mulching
„Mulching" is a process in which the grass is finely chop-
ped by a special cutting system and then deposited on the
ground. The result is that the grass does not have to be
collected and disposed of. „Mulching" also prevents the lawn
from drying out.
Note:
• Depending on how fast the grass grows, you should mulch
1-2 times each week.
• The grass should not be too high or very wet!
• Walk slowly.
• When cutting, the strips should overlap.
• Do not cut more than 20 cm of grass at a time.
Important!
„Mulching" is not recommended if the lawn is mossy or
matted.
Reason:
The cut grass remains on top fo the moss or matted grass
and cannot reach the ground below.
Remedy:
The lawn should be aerated and fertilized regularly.
Inserting the mulching kit
Make sure that the motor is switched off
and the cutting blade is not moving.
1. Remove the grass bag.
2. ssemble as shown in illustrations
3. Disassemble as shown in illustrations
