Attention
Set selector switch to „0" before starting main-
tenance work on the space heater.
After the heater has cooled down, the main
power switch must be turned off.
Notice
For a safe operation of the heating system it is
absolutely necessary to use the Kroll flue gas
accessories.

2.4 Installation

• The space heater is only to be installed on
fireproof floor.
• The heating appliance must not be set up
in rooms containing explosive dust, smoke,
combustible gases or fluids.
• The exhaust fumes must be conducted
into the open air through a chimney or
flue approved tubes for oil or gas heating
appliances and in accordance with all appli-
cable standards.
The chimney can be in masonry or metal
The opening of the chimney must clear the
roof by at least 1 m, and the roof ridge by at
least 0,5 m. It must be exposed to the free
wind conditions.

• The opening of the chimney must not be in
the vicinity of a window or a balcony.

• A catch elbow must be connected to the flue
connector for rain-water condensation.
Horizontally installed flue pipes (max.1/3
of total flue pipe length) must have a con-
tinuous gradient of 2 cm per metre. Flue
pipes must be interconnected in the direc-
tion of the draft.
