11.6 HOW TO SET THE BOILER'S TEMPERATURE BY MEANS OF THE PID

The PID has been set by the producer of this machine on a temperature of 92°C. In order to change the
temperature please proceed as follows:
- press the button
- as soon as the display shows the boiler's temperature, help yourself with the buttons
to set the desired temperature, starting from a min. of 80C° up to a max. of 120C°.
- after 3 sec. from pressing the last button, the inserted temperature is memorized and the display shows the set
temperature.
NB: if the temperature is set too high, once a coffee request is made, the display starts to flash.
The PID is already set by the producer on the right temperature for an excellent espresso. During heating and
coffee or water distribution, the temperature can oscillate (+/- 10/12°C). Also, a warning has been inserted:
after 104°C the PID's display shows the temperature but intermittently; this is normal and it warns the user that the
coffee will not be good if made with such high temperature.
12 – ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND PRECAUTIONS
a) It is recommended to clean the tank periodically by pulling it out carefully by its proper handle and by putting
the water tubes into it again being careful not to bend them.
b) To avoid altering the taste of the drinks to be heated and to prevent the holes of the end part of the steam delivery
nozzle getting clog.
c) Use a normal damp cloth to clean both the spout and the pipe.
d) Do not leave the machine outdoor.
e) Do not immerse the machine in water.
f) Use the machine only under adult control and keep away from children.
Attention: damages due to the emptiness of the machine water circuit voids war-
ranty; it recommended to read the instruction booklet carefully and to control the
tank (1) water level regularly.
