WORKING
Check for every use:
- or the appliance doesn't show signs of damage.
- or the appliance still is fastened firmly. Mechanical bearing pressure, oscillating duet o
wind or rain could lead to loose.
- or there are no objects, canvas, sun screens etc. are inside the safety distances.
- or the socket you want to use gives the correct tension (220-240V-50Hz) and is
grounded.
When you use the appliance for the first time (or after a long time again), observe it
during the first 10 till 15 minutes to be sure that is works trouble-free.
If everything is all right you can insert the plug into the socket.
The Golden 2000 Ultra RCD has a remote control that works with two batteries: AAA,
1.5V.
While using, point the remote control to the receiving point of the heater (on the electric
part). If there are obstacles between remote control and the heater, it will not work!
Remove the batteries out of the season, that will
extend the life of the remote control.
• Press the on/off switch (7) on the side of the unit to
"I" (on)
• Set the device into operation by pressing the ON
button ( ) of the remote control.
• Select the appropriate power level by one of the
three buttons:
- Low = 800 watts. low power with blue light
- Med = 1500 watts. Medium power with purple
light
- High = 2000 watts. High power with red light.
The infrared heater will now start its operation.
• To stop the unit, first press the 'off' button on the remote control. Then turn it off by
pressing the on/off-switch to 'O' (off). Finally, unplug it from the wall outlet. Allow the
heater to cool down.
Warning! When you turn off the unit using only the remote control, the 'standby'
remains. So turn it off using the remote control or the on/off-switch and remove the plug
from the socket!

Cleaning
This appliance consist of a robust and maintenance-free aluminium casing with a safety
grill.
Before cleaning remove the plug from the power outlet and wait until the appliance is
sufficiently cooled off. Wipe the appliance only with a clean and lint-free cloth or a soft
brush. Never use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes and chemical cleaners for
