Display
Opens the display menu (see chapter 'Displaymenu of the CD Player')
Button for opening and closing the CD drawer.
Selects the previous next track during playback.
Fast forward / rewind: searches for a particular passage. Hold the search
button pressed in to increase the rate (speed) of search.
Confirm button
Ends playback
Starts playback / halts playback (pause) / resumes playback after a pause
Pause
Repeat function (see Chapter 'Operating the CD player, Playback mode')
Button for operating future function expansions
Brief press: activates playback programming,
Adds a track to the playback program during playback
programming
Long press: End the playback programming process
(see chapter 'Playback Program')
The drawer is opened and closed by pressing the 
All the CD Player's display elements are grouped together in a clearly
arranged screen area.
The screen functions and symbols vary according to the currently active
function, and according to the type of music being played.
The basic areas of the screen:
• Display field (a) shows information relating to the piece of music being
played. The essential information is displayed enlarged in the main line.
• The bottom line (b) displays supplementary context-sensitive information and
operating notes.
