5. Troubleshooting

You might meet abnormal working of this set-top box with various reasons. Check the
following which may help you.
Problem
LED on the front panel fail to light
up/is not lit.
Bad or jerky image.
No auto-start screen when star-
ting the set-top box.
The remote control is not wor-
king.
You have forgotten your pass-
word.
The set-top box will now be ope-
rated in another room, but there is
no picture and sound.

Possible causes
Main supply cable is not connected.
The antenna is not connected
properly or not properly configu-
red in the menu.
The set-top box is connected via
HDMI, but the TV is not in the cor-
rect HDMI mode.
Battery exhausted. Remote cont-
rol is not aimed correctly STB is in
standby mode.
Possibly is the terrestrial reception
poor in this room.

What to do
Check if the main supply cable is
plugged into the power socket.
Make sure that the antenna is
connected properly. Check the
antenna settings menu.
Switch the TV to the correct HDMI
mode (eg HDMI 1).
Change the batteries (both). Aim
the remote control at the STB.
Check that nothing blocks the
front panel. Check if LED indicator
on the front panel is showing the
time, press the power button to
switch off standby mode.
The default password is: 0000.
Contact the dealer or Service Pro-
vider. They will help you set it up
again.
Perform a new channel search.
Alternatively, the DVB-T antenna
must be positioned at another
location with more receiving.
