INITIAL SETUP

This procedure allows setting up the reader to operate with the default settings:
Whenever you need to change the default values refer to par. 5.2.

RS232 INTERFACE SELECTION

The Gryphon™ D432/D432E reader requires the RS232 interface cable and the
AC/DC power adapter to be connected.
To install and configure your reader with the RS232 interface, follow these
instructions:
Make all system connections as shown in Figure 3:

4. Power up your PC.
RS232 is the default interface set at the factory.
