Warning! During operation, this
electric tool generates an electro-
magnetic field which, under certain
circumstances, may impair the
functionality of active or passive
medical implants. To reduce the risk
of serious or lethal injuries, we
recommend that persons with me-
dical implants consult their doctor
and the manufacturer of their me-
dical implant before operating the
machine.
Operation
1. Direction switch
You can toggle between right and left ro-
tation by pushing the direction of rotation
switch (
5).
The direction changed may
only be performed in stand-
still mode!
In clockwise rotation, the
maximum torque is limited to
100 Nm.
2. Switching on/off
Make sure that the power supply
voltage matches the voltage rating
indicated on the device's type
plate.
Connect the machine to the power
supply..
Press the on/off switch (3). The device runs
at the maximum speed. To turn it off, release
the on-off button.
The tightening torque depends on the se-
lected speed and impact duration.
Use the electric impact wrench when tighte-
ning screws and nuts exclusively for pre-
assembly. The desired target torque of the
screw or nut is not to be achieved by the elec-
tric impact wrench but by means of a torque
wrench which is set to the target torque.
The tightening torque actual-
ly achieved must be checked
in all cases with a torque
wrench !
Always follow the
manufacturer's instructions
for tightening screws or nuts.
Follow the manufacturer's
guidelines for the inspection
of screws or nuts in accor-
dance with time or perfor-
mance.
After a wheel change is car-
ried out, reference is regular-
ly made to an inspection of
the wheel bolts or nuts. That
inspection must be carried
out with a torque wrench af-
ter 50 to 100 km.
