• If a fully recharged battery lasts for
considerably shorter operating times,
the battery is used up and needs to be
replaced. Only use an OEM battery
pack replacement available from our
Customer Service.

ronmental protection regulations and
information (see "Cleaning and Main-
tenance").

Operation

Use of vehicle adapter

Instead of the battery (5) you can also con-
nect the vehicle adapter (15) to the tool.
1. Insert the vehicle connection plug
( 16) into the 12 V cigarette lighter
socket of your car. The red LED will il-
luminate.
2. Slide the vehicle adapter (15) along
the guide rail into the tool. You will
hear it click into place.
3. To remove the vehicle adapter (15)
from the tool, press the release catch
(15a) on the vehicle adapter and pull
the vehicle adapter out.
The tool continues to draw power
when idle. Ensure that the vehicle
connection plug is not inserted if
you are not using the tool at that
time, to avoid draining the car's
battery.
Set the direction of
rotation
You can select the direction of rotation
with the direction switch (clockwise and
anticlockwise direction).
