Risk of electric shock
Only connect and operate the toaster in
accordance with the information on the rating
plate.
Keep children away from the toaster.
Do not use if the power cable or toaster show
signs of damage.
Unplug the toaster after each use or in the
event of a fault.
To prevent potential hazards, repairs on the
toaster, e.g. replacing a damaged power
cable, must only be carried out by members of
our after sales service.
Do not let the power cable:
- come into contact with hot parts
- be pulled over sharp edges
- be used as a carrying handle
Do not poke objects into the toast slot.
Only operate the toaster when it is upright.
Bread can burn. Never operate the toaster
near to or underneath curtains or other
flammable materials.
Never cover the toast slot.
Do not touch parts other than the operational
controls as the toaster can become hot during
toasting.
Do not allow persons (including children) who
lack the necessary experience and know how
or who have reduced sensory perception or
mental abilities to operate the appliance,
unless they are supervised or have been
trained to use the appliance by a person who
is responsible for their safety.
Switch off at the power switch after every use
(switch in position 0)
Never leave the toaster unattended while it
is in operation.

Before first use
With the window open, heat up the toaster
S
without any bread in it on the highest
toasting level setting at least three times
and let it cool down again.
Toasting
Do not operate the toaster without the crumb
tray 8.
Unwind the power cable to the length
S
desired and plug it in. Switch on the power
switch 10 (position 1); a segment lights up
in the toasting level indicator 3.
Set the required toasting level using the
S
buttons 4. The toasting level set remains
stored and is displayed by a light segment
(memory function).
Info: your own setting is cleared if the
toaster is switched off or unplugged or if
there is a power failure. The factory setting
is automatically restored in these cases.
Place the food to be toasted in the toast

slot 5.
