29. Disposal

a) General information
The product does not belong in the household waste!
Dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations at the end of its service life.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of it separately from the product.

b) Batteries

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of them in the house-
hold waste is prohibited.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the adjacent symbol to indicate that disposal in the
household waste is prohibited. The designations for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead.
You can return used batteries free of charge at the official collection points of your community, in our stores, or
wherever batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
