• Observe proper fit of the seal (around the battery compartment). Close the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor
and secure it with the screw again.
• The LED below the LC display flashes briefly after inserting the batteries, and then approx. every 60 seconds when the
outdoor sensor sends the measured values.

b) Weather station
• Open the battery compartment on the back of the basis station.
• Insert four type AA/Mignon batteries in the battery compartment in the correct polarity (observe plus/+ and minus/-).
If the display lighting should be lit permanently, use the enclosed plug-in mains adapter. The batteries are then
the backup in case of power outage.
• Right after inserting the batteries into the weather station, the backlighting will light up in different colours, all display
segments appear briefly and a beep is emitted.
• If no button is pushed for several seconds, the weather station will start scanning for the available outdoor sensors.
The reception symbol for the radio signal of the outdoor sensors appears in the display. This sensor search takes several
minutes. Do not move the weather station and outdoor sensor during this time and do not push any button. If a button is
pushed, the weather station will interrupt the scan for the outdoor sensors.
• After reception of the outdoor sensors, the weather station is ready. The received sensors are now displayed in se-
quence.
• Close the battery compartment of the weather station.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the plug-in mains adapter to the corresponding round socket on the right of the weather
station.
