The telemetry devices can be controlled over the following interfaces:
directly via COM2 of the control unit, or
via the TTY telemetry interface of SIMATRIX
There are two possible ways to control the pan/tilt speed of the telemetry devices:
independent of the tilt of the joystick -> Joystick Mode Fix Speed.
depending on the tilt of the joystick -> Joystick Mode Var. Speed.
Select joystick mode
Prerequisite:
The parameter menu is open.
–
See Section 10.4.1: Open parameter menu/Base parameters.
1.
Select the menu item Interface adjustment.
2.
Select the menu item Joystick Mode Fix Speed.
The motion speed of the telemetry devices is preset and cannot be controlled
with the joystick.
3.
Select the menu item Joystick Mode Var. Speed.
The motion speed of the telemetry devices can be controlled using the
joystick. It increases gradually in proportion to the deflection of the joystick.
For this mode, all telemetry devices connected to the control unit must
support variable speed control (e.g. CCDA14xx dome).
If a dome system (CCDA14xxx) is directly connected to the COM2 port of the control unit (SIVIS /
CCDA protocol), the telemetry devices are always controlled with variable speed.
