Start the engine

The main switch must be switched on in order to start the
motor!
Sit on the driver's seat.

Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch.

Release parking brake (with MDC variant).

Travel direction selector switch on the joystick to NEU-

TRAL/STOP position - central position (not with MDC
variant).
Set the hand throttle to low motor speed / hand throttle

position.
Turn the ignition key to ignition on (position I).

Note
Warning lights for charge control and motor oil pressure
must be on.
In case of low outside temperatures, turn the ignition

key to preheating (max. 20 seconds).
6.1.7 Operating programmes (not with MDC variant)
Push the brake pedal during the starting sequence.

Turn the ignition key to start motor (position II) and hold

it until the motor has started (max. 10 seconds).
Release the ignition key. The ignition key turns to posi-

tion I.
Note
Warning lights for battery charge and motor oil pres-
sure must go out; if not, switch off the motor and rectify
the error.
At ambient temperatures below 0°C: Allow the motor to

warm up at a low motor speed until the warning light hy-
draulic oil filter drive goes out prior to starting work.
Note
If the motor does not start, repeat the start-up process.

The selection of the operating modes must only be per-
formed at a standstill of the vehicle.
Stop vehicle.

Set the accelerator lever to low motor speed / hand

throttle position.
Set the driving direction selector switch to the NEU-

TRAL position (switch in central position).
1 TRANSPORT MODE FAST:
Driving is only possible if the hand throttle is set to low
motor speed / hand throttle position.
The drive speed is regulated via the drive pedal; max.
40 km/h.
Info: In the transport mode Fast the pulling capacity of
the vehicle is 50%, the maximum travel speed is 100%.
The speed follows the motor speed.
2 TRANSPORT MODE SLOW:
Driving is only possible if the hand throttle is set to low
motor speed / hand throttle position.
The drive speed is regulated via the drive pedal. Max.
speed approx. 20 km/h.
Info: In the transport mode Slow the pulling capacity of
the vehicle is 100%, the maximum travel speed is 50%.
The speed follows the motor speed.
3 WORK MODE:
Max. 20 km/h. The motor speed can be set via the hand
throttle independently from the driving speed.
Note: Through the accelerator pedal, the set motor
speed can be overdriven.
4 CRAWL MODE:
Max. 5 km/h forwards and 10 km/h in reverse. The mo-
tor speed can be set via the hand throttle independently
from the driving speed.

speed can be overdriven.
