• L'apparecchio non va utilizzato nel caso in cui la calotta
o i denti del pettine siano danneggiati o l'apparecchio

Che cosa sono i pidocchi del capo?
I pidocchi sono piccoli insetti privi di ali che si nutrono di
sangue depositandosi sulla testa degli uomini.
Generalmente, i pidocchi adulti sono lunghi 2 o 3 mm e
hanno un colore che varia dal bianco-grigio al marrone. Le
uova dei pidocchi sono di colore marrone-beige e sono
attaccate al cuoio capellutto, alla radice dei capelli. Le
uova si schiudono dopo 7 o 10 giorni, i gusci bianchi
schiusi si chiamano lendini. L'infestazione, mediamente,
comincia con circa 10 pidocchi. Se non vengono adottati
provvedimenti il numero dei pidocchi può salire rapida-
mente a 200 su una sola testa. I pidocchi non possono Cond on d g n
né saltare né volare per cui cambiano ospite attraverso il

contatto diretto fra due teste. Tuttavia non si può impedire
che i pidocchi continuino a sopravvivere per breve tempo
anche sui tessuti. Diversamente dall'opinione comune i
pidocchi attaccano tutti i tipi di capelli e non solo quelli
sporchi e non lavati.
Particolarità del pettine antipidocchi

elettronico LCS MEDISANA
Il pettine antipidocchi elettronico LCS della MEDISANA
distrugge efficacemente i pidocchi del capo senza l'impiego
di sostanze chimiche. Il pettine agisce per mezzo della
tensione tra i denti che, al solo contatto, uccidono imme-
diatamente sia le uova che i pidocchi. La tensione elettrica
impiegata è così bassa che non viene percipita da chi lo
utilizza ed è assolutamente innocua. Contemporanea-
mente, un segnale indica l'attività.
L'apparecchio funziona per mezzo di batterie AA comune-
mente in commercio. Il pettine antipidocchi elettrico LCS
della MEDISANA è adatto sia per gli adulti sia per i bambini
al di sopra dei 3 anni. Il pettine può essere utilizzato anche
per gli animali domestici, come i cani e i gatti.
Modalità d'impiego
Inserire e rimuovere la batteria
Per rimuovere la copertura del vano batteria si deve
premere e sollevare con l'unghia la levetta nella parte
superiore del coperchio e toglierla. Inserire le batterie (tipo
AA LR6) comprese nella fornitura. Assi curarsi che le
batterie siano inserite correttamente come indicato dai
segni +/- riportati sulle batterie e nel vano delle bartterie.
Rimettere la copertura del vano batteria inserendo
prima i perni nella parte inferiore e poi premendo la levetta
nella parte uperiore finché non scatta. Procedere nello

stesso modo ad ogni sostituzione delle batterie.
Si consiglia di non utilizzare batterie ricaricabili. Rinuovere
le batterie se si prevede di non utilizzare l'apperecchio per
molto tempo.
