10.7 Installation of the WRG 35-1-SE /
WRG 35H-SE final assembly set and
RLS 4-1 / RLS 5 room air control
Remove the plaster protective cover and
the polystyrene support.
Glue the foam rubber seal vertically
between the two shutters, in order to create
a seal to the external cover.
Set the DIP switches on board "P"
(master/slave device) and carry out the
electrical connections (→ Chapter 10.8).
Slide the complete fan unit into the wall
sleeve as far as it will go.
Make sure that the condensation
i
connection on the underside or the
extension hose (WRG 35 VH) are
pushed into the stainless steel
external cover accordingly. This
ensures that the condensation can
drip onto the drip tray.
Install the recessed-mounted or surface-
mounted room air control(s) on the wall
using suitable installation material. Only
combine room air controls of the same
type (RLS 4-1 or RLS 5).
If necessary, give network addresses to
RLS 4-1 controls (RLS 5s addresses are
programmed during commissioning).
Position the internal cover correctly and
fix it in place with the two cross-headed
screws.
Start-up the ventilation unit as described in
Chapter 11.
10.8 Electrical connection
Danger to life from electric
shock.
Switch off the mains fuse at
DANGER
the fuse box when carrying out
any work on the ventilation
unit's electrical equipment.
Position a visible warning
notice to avoid the unit being
accidentally switched back on.
● Only qualified electricians are permitted to
make the electrical connections, in
compliance with the wiring diagram in the
appendix.
● Make sure to observe the relevant
regulations with electrical installation; in
Germany this is particularly VDE 0100
with the corresponding parts.
● Check the mains supply to the building
before commissioning. This must comply
with the voltage setting at the ventilation
unit.
● Fixed main power connection.
Fixed cabling is prescribed for the mains
connection with 3 x 1.5 mm² cables.
● Lay the power cable and control cable to
the room air control in separate empty
(protective) ducting.
Standard connection:
1 Ventilation unit, 1 Room air control
Plug the control cable Western plug into
the control circuit board, "P"
(→ Chapter 10.7 and 15).
Pull the mains connection terminal block off
the control circuit board.
Carry out the cabling in accordance with
the wiring diagram in the appendix.
Plug the cabled terminal block onto the
plug connector on the control circuit board.
