15) Insert the lock axis from medial into the orthosis knee joint and slide on the retaining ring.
16) Bring the orthosis ankle joint forward to the stop and thread the steel cable from above
through the orthosis ankle joint.
17) Insert the upper part of the orthosis with new bearing washers into the orthosis knee joint.
18) Slide the knee axis from the medial side into the orthosis knee joint and slide on the retaining
ring.
→ The orthosis knee joint now has to be locked.
19) Insert the pressure ball into the orthosis ankle joint.
20) Apply Loctite® 241 to the locking screw and install it. Do not tighten the locking screw.
21) Keep slight tension on the steel cable by hand and lift the lock by about 1 mm. Tighten the
locking screw at the same time (torque value 0.5 Nm ).
→ The lock has to unlock due to dorsiflexion in the orthosis ankle joint and extension in the
orthosis knee joint.
22) Shorten the pull cable. The pull cable has to project 2 cm out of the ankle joint.
9 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.

2 Description du produit
2.1 Tailles disponibles
L'orthèse est disponible en deux tailles différentes. Le choix de la taille s'effectue en fonction du
poids du patient.
