14. TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
The 7 in 1 multimeter can also record and display temperatures.
Connect the rechargeable battery's
balancer plug (1) to the Futaba plug (2)
protected against polarity reversal at the
temperature sensor connection of the 7
in 1 multimeter (see figure 2, item 4).
The current supply to the 7 in 1 multim-
eter for temperature measurement is
provided by a rechargeable battery
connected to the balancer connection
(3).
The temperature is recorded with the
sensor element (4) at the end of the
sensor cable.
Hook-and-loop tapes have proven well suitable for attaching the sensor to rechargeable
batteries or controllers.
The sensor cable is displayed coiled for photo-technical reasons only. For practical
use, the cable should always be uncoiled.
Call the item "TEMPERATURE" in the menu structure
and activate the selection with "ENTER".
The display shows the temperature in °C and °F. In
addition to the current value "Current", the measured
maximum value "Peak" is displayed.
Use the "BACK/ESC" button to exit the temperature
measurement function and return to the menu structure.
