Maintenance
 Regularly check the grass trimmer and the accessory for obvious short-
comings such as loose attachments and worn or damaged components.
 Only use original blades. Replace defective parts with original parts only.
Cleaning and Storing
 Remove the battery from the unit.
 Thoroughly clean the motor housing of the grass trimmer with a soft brush
or a dry or lightly moistened cloth. Do not use water or detergents for clean-
ing. Preferably clean the housing of the trimmer after each use in order to
remove dried grass effectively.
 Store the grass trimmer in a dry place that is protected from dust and dirt.
Keep the grass trimmer out of reach of children.
 Remove the battery from the trimmer if not in use.
 Charge the battery before each use. When large areas are to be cut, it is
recommended to use a spare battery.
