Make coffee
• Open the lid and fill the water tank with clear water. Do not fill the tank below the MIN line or beyond the
MAX line.
• Insert a #4 paper filter and fill in the desired amount of coffee.
• Press the ON/OFF key and the brewing process starts automatically.
• The brewing process ends automatically when the water has completely run through the filter .
Set the time
• The time is shown in the 24-hour mode.
• Set the time by pressing the key „h" to set the hours and by pressing the key „Min" to set the minutes. Keep
the keys pressed to run fast forward through the digits.
• Press SET once to confirm your setting.
Make coffee for a set time in the future
This appliance has an integrated timer by which you can set a brewing time in the future.
• To set the brewing time, keep the SET key pressed and set the point of time, as described in the previous
section.
• To activate the timer press the DELAY key. The coffee will now be brewed at the set time.
• To deactivate the timer press the ON/OFF key.
Automatic switching off of the coffee maker
After 40 minutes without key entry the appliance shuts down automatically.
• Decalcify the appliance regularly.
• Run a solution of water and vingegar through the brewing mechanism.
• Leave the appliance shut off for a few minutes.
• Run a few brewing cycles wih clear water.
Note: After the 200th brewing process the appliance sounds a short acoustic signal which indicates the need for
decalcification. You can reset the counter by keeping the DELAY key pressed for 3 seconds.
