nung kann zu schweren Schäden

Einstellen der gewünschten
Gasdosierung
Im Bypaßventilgehäuse befinden
sich fünf Bohrungen. In vier Boh-
rungen können Dosiereinsätze
eingebaut werden (Bild 6.1.1). Die
Standardausrüstung sind die Do-
sieranschlüsse für Gemische mit
60, 50 und 40% O Möchten Sie

eine weitere Dosierung für ein
anderes Mischgas in Ihr Gerät ein-
bauen, lösen Sie die in die Boh-
rung eingesetzte Metallschraube
und verschrauben statt dessen die
als Zubehör erwerbbare Dosiertül-
le in der freien Bohrung
(Bild 6.1.1).
Um für den Betrieb des Gerätes
die Dosierung für das entspre-
chende Mischgas einzustellen,
schließen Sie die Verbindungslei-
tung mit der Überwurfmutter an
der entsprechenden Dosiertülle
an (Bild 6.1.1.). Die vorher von der
Dosiertülle entfernte Dichtschrau-
be wird nun auf die freie Dosier-
tülle aufgeschraubt.
Die Dosiereinheiten der neuen
Generation besitzen farbige Mar-
kierungsringe mit eingeprägter
Gemischbezeichnung und O-
Ring-gedichtete Verschlußkap-
pen. Wenn Sie eine Dosiereinheit
der älteren Generation mit einer
dieser neuen Kappen verschlie-
ßen wollen, achten Sie unbedingt

Setting the Gas Flow.
You will find five inlets in the by-
pass valve housing. Four of those
inlets can be used to install flow
units (Figure 6.1.1). The Dolphin
comes preset for flow rates cali-
brated for nitrox 60, 50 and 40
consisting of 60%, 50% and 40%
O . If you wish to use the other

available nitrox mixture, remove
the metal screw and mount the
appropriate meter nozzle into free
opening as shown in Figure 6.1.1.
To set the flow for the appropriate
nitrox mixture, use a swivel nut to
attach to the connecting hose of
the metering nozzle as seen in Fi-
gures 6.1.1.
The sealing screw removed from
the metering nozzle is now scre-
wed onto the free connection.
The new generation of dosage
devices have coloured marking
rings with the mix engraved and
o-ring sealed caps. If you want to
close an old style dosage device
with one of the new sealing caps,
make sure that there is a rubber
plate in it. Otherwise water could
enter the dosage device and shut it.
Metering Test
Prior to any dive you must first test
the flow rate injector valve selec-
ted to make sure that the connec-
tions are secure and that it is pro-
perly functioning. To do this, take
the dosage testing device (41) or
an other suitable flowmeter and
connect it with bypass the valve
at the plug-in connector (48). A
