13. Maintenance

Warning
In a hot-water system, there is always a
risk of formation of Legionella bacteria
in the water.
If the hot-water system has not been
used for an extended period of time
(a day or more) AND the surrounding
temperature is higher than 25 °C, there
is an increased risk of Legionella
bacteria forming in the system.
To clean the hot-water system, run the
disinfection cycle, and let the system
run until the tap water temperature is
higher than 50 °C.

13.1 Replacement of the pump

If the ALPHA FWM is to be replaced,
make sure to order the pump specified
Caution in the spare parts list. The FWM can
only operate together with the specified
ALPHA FWM pump.
