2. Connect the module to the respective tank inlet
ball valve (pos. 4a) and tank outlet ball valve
(pos. 3) using the supplied flexible hoses (pos. f).
Lock the connections with the supplied locking
clips (pos. g) and locking pins (pos. k). Make sure
to fit the O-rings (pos. h). See fig. 6.

3. Fit one connection piece (pos. l) to each of the
flexible hoses (pos. i) used for fresh-water
connections. Make sure to fit the flat gasket
(pos. j). See fig. 7.

4. Connect the module to the respective cold and
hot fresh-water connections using the flexible
hoses. Follow this procedure:
– Screw the flexible hoses (pos. i) to the existing
cold and hot fresh-water installations (fig. 1,
pos. 1 and 2). Make sure to fit the flat gaskets
(pos. j).
– Lock the flexible hose connections to the
module with the supplied locking clips (pos. g).
Make sure to fit the O-rings (pos. h). See fig. 8.

Note
Before mounting the insulation shell, make sure to
connect the following:
• sensor cables and power supply to the sensor

box
l Caution
• the power supply to the ALPHA FWM pump
• the two separate earth leads to the clamps on the
PHE. See fig. 9.

The insulation shell must be mounted
after the installation and hydraulic
connection to protect against sharp
objects and hot surfaces as well as to
prevent unnecessary loss of energy.
