It is prohibited to create a complete loop on the supply cable of the
EVB - Slim receiver for Variation io .
Do not interlace the supply cable of the EVB - Slim receiver for Variation
io with another cable.
4.2 Installation
Mounting inside the head rail
It is prohibited to mount the EVB - Slim receiver for Variation io inside the head rail for 57x51,
parts of the actuator).
When the EVB - Slim receiver for Variation io is positioned under the head rail, the operation
of the mushroom emergency button is not guaranteed. In this case, it is necessary to adjust
the upper end limit of the motor below the mushroom emergency button or use mushroom
extensions provided for this purpose.
Installing the Slim receiver for Variation io
Note: The Slim receiver for Variation io must be installed in a location protected from rain and bad
weather conditions, out of sight and out of reach.
Cut off the mains power supply.
Slim receiver for Variation io (Hirschmann plugs)
Disconnect the motor cable connector from the
power supply cable connector.
Connect the Slim receiver for Variation io between
the motor cable and the supply cable.
Lock the clips to the tabs, after having checked
that the two plugs are properly engaged.
Slim receiver for Variation io (cables)
Disconnect the motor cable from the power supply
cable.
Connect the Slim receiver for Variation io to the
motor cable and the power supply cable using
terminal blocks.
