F Batterietest
1. Stellen Sie den Drehschalter auf die Schalterposition
1,5 V oder 9 V im Bereich "BAT.".
2. Legen Sie die Meßspitzen polungsrichtig (rot an +
und schwarz an -) an die Batteriepole an.
3. Bei der Messung von 9-V-Blockbatterien wird Ihnen
die Spannung bei einer Belastung mit ca. 10 mA an-
gezeigt.
4. Bei der Messung von 1,5-V-Rundzellen wird Ihnen
die Spannung bei einer Belastung mit ca. 125 mA
angezeigt.
Dadurch ist es möglich, eine Aussage über den Zustand
bzw. die Restkapazität einer Batterie zu machen, bevor
sie umweltgerecht entsorgt werden muß.
Entsorgung
Ist das Analogmultimeter trotz intakter Widerstands-
meßbatterie und Sicherung nicht funktionsfähig bzw.
nicht mehr reparierbar, so muß es nach den geltenden
gesetzlichen Vorschriften entsorgt werden.

For exchanging the fuse disconnect the measuring de-
vice from the measuring circuit and turn it off. Use an
appropriate Phillips screwdriver and carefully open the
housing. Remove the defective fuse and substitue it for
one of the identical type and nominal current.
0.5 A fast, 250 V; usual designation: F 0.5 A/500 V or F
500 mA/500 V.
Close the housing after having exchanged the fuse and
tighten the screws carefully. Re-operate the measuring
device only, when the housing has safely been closed
and tightened with the screws.
B Connecting the measuring leads
Use the firmly connected measuring leads only for
measuring. Make sure that the cable connectors or test
prods are in good state and that the insulation is not
damaged before connecting.
The measuring leads are homologated for voltages up
to 500 V max. Your analog multimeter MT-7005 is desi-
gned for voltages up to 500 VDC/ VACrms max. Be es-
pecially careful when you handle voltages above of 25
VAC or 35 VDC.
If the mulitmeter is not used, have the test prods arre-
sted in the arresting fixture on the bottom of the rubber
holster.
