Performance of measurements

A D.c. voltage measurement

Never exceed the maximum admissible
input values, not even when measuring
superimposed d.c. voltages (e.g. ripple
voltage). 500 VDC max.
Do not touch circuits or parts of the cir-
cuitry, if the measured voltages inside
exceed 25 VACrms or 35 VDC.
Please adhere to the following instructions for measu-
ring d.c. voltages:
1. Set the turn switch (2) to the maximum effective vol-
tage range (500V) within the „V --..." range.
2. Connect the test prods to the measuring object (load,
circuit etc.).
3. The present measured value is indicated. If the poin-
ter deflects to the left, the terminals had been
connected wrongly (+ and – are interchanged). The
generated excessive input voltage might lead to de-
struction of the measurement mechanism (moving-
coil instrument) in the lower effective range.

C Gleichstrommessung
Zur Messung von Gleichströmen gehen Sie wie folgt
vor:
1. Stellen Sie den Drehschalter auf Gleichstrommes-
sung "mA –– ..." (0,5 mA oder 10 mA oder 250 mA ).
2. Verbinden Sie die Meßleitungen in Serie mit dem
Meßobjekt (siehe nachfolgende Abbildung).

Messen Sie keine Ströme in Stromkrei-
sen, in welchen Spannungen größer 250
VDC auftreten können, damit das Meß-
gerät nicht beschädigt wird und dadurch
für Sie Lebensgefahr bestehen kann.
Messen Sie auf keinen Fall Ströme über
0,25 A.
