As shown in the illustration above, the photo diode is soldered directly onto the resistor R4
(cathode of the IR diode) and the capacitor C9 (anode of the IR diode).
To ensure the error-free installation into the housing, you should bend the photo diode to the
other side of the circuit board. Here you have to make sure that the connections cannot cause
a short circuit. To prevent this, attach a piece of insulation tape between the circuit board and
the connections.
You can easily program the device while the housing is open. Removing the circuit board again
is not necessary.
