Surface-mounted wall transmitter "FS20 S4A-2"
The "FS20 S4A-2" is a revised version of the popular wall switch. The photo diode is also
included in the circuit board layout here.
The photo diode is installed on the top of the circuit board (see illustration) with open housing
and dismantled conductor board.
The connections of the photo diode are angled at 90 degrees approx. 3 mm away from the
housing outlet and through corresponding equipment borings (as already described, observe
the right orientation of cathode and anode of the IR diode!).
After soldering, clip off the excess connections cleanly.
If you do not want to drill any openings into the casing, perform the programming especially
simple while the keypad is removed and the housing is open.
Otherwise, drill a small opening opposite to the tip of the photo diode (a diameter of 2 mm is
sufficient) to have the "FS20 IRP" transmit directly through this opening.
