Overview of operating displays
RED: Locking active.
GREEN: Permanent release.
The door can be locked by turning the key in the clockwise direction. If this is
not possible, then the door is not closed.
YELLOW: Alarm.
GREEN FLASHING with short pauses in-between (*): A temporary release is in
progress. The time sequence is interrupted automatically by opening and clo-
sing the door. It can be manually interrupted when the door is closed by turning
the key in the clockwise direction.
GREEN FLASHING with light and pause times of equal lengths (**): An alarm
has been triggered. Although this has been acknowledged, the cause of the
alarm is still active. The cause of the alarm can be determined with the aid of
the table on page 10 (section 1.6). After eliminating the cause of the alarm (the
green LED lights continuously), the door can be locked again by turning the key
in the clockwise direction.
GREEN and YELLOW: Danger alarm.
Possible causes:
· The emergency switch has been actuated.
· The fire alarm switchboard has tripped.
· A lock command could not be executed.
· The door has remained open after a temporary release or end of a permanent
unlocking status.
· The terminal housing has been opened while the door is unlocked.
RED and YELLOW: Sabotage alarm. The door locking status remains active.
Possible causes:
· A housing of the emergency exit security system has been opened.
· The door contact has been opened (sabotage at the door).
(*)The pulse-pause ratio is appr. 9:1. This means that the light phase lasts
nine times longer than the dark phase.
(**)The pulse-pause ratio is appr. 1:1. This means that the light phase and
dark phase are around equal lengths..
