7.3 Internet Settings

Note
This menu is only available if you are entitled to SELECT VIDEO and the
service is available in your home.
To fully benefit from SELECT VIDEO, you must connect your receiver to Internet through your residential
router.
Depending on your network installation (router with or without wireless capabilities), you can connect the
receiver to an Ethernet (wired) or a wireless network (WLAN).
The SETTINGS > SYSTEM SETUP > INTERNET menu lets you configure an Internet connection within
your domestic network and test the network connection.
Note
Practical knowledge of your computer and network configurations is required to
configure the Internet settings.
To return to the previous screen and save your changes, use the ZURÜCK
To exit the menu screen, press the MENÜ

7.3.1 Setting up a wireless connection (WLAN)

Note
Before starting, ensure that your router is plugged in, connected to the Internet
and that the wireless feature is activated.
Use only the optional USB WLAN stick provided with the product for
SELECT VIDEO.
To connect the receiver to the wireless network:
1. Connect the optional USB WLAN stick on a free USB port of the receiver.
2. If you have not set up an Internet connection during first installation, press the MENÜ
and select SETTINGS > SYSTEM SETUP > INTERNET > INTERNET SETUP > WIRELESS LAN.
3. Thereafter, you will get an assistant helping you to set up the wireless Internet connection step by step.
