Aligning the adapters
NotICE
On each of the insides of the two adapters 7223825
there is a black arrow on a white background
install the adapters in the vehicle so that the arrows
point in the driving direction.
the arrow must point in the driving direc-
tion.
Mounting the adapters in the vehicle
NotICE
the adapters must be secured in the vehicle and the
associated structural modifications to the vehicle must
be done in accordance with the stipulations of the
DMSB or the FIA as per the respective applicable ver-
sion of the regulations that apply.
install the adapters (5) in the vehicle with four
M8 screws, strength class 10.9.
tightening torque: 35 nm.
Preparing the racing shell (Figure B)
the supplied large washers (7) are adhered to the racing
shell with doublesided adhesive film (6).
1. Remove the protective film on one side of the
adhesive film (6) and stick an adhesive film onto each
of the 4 attachment points.
2. Remove the protective films on the other side of the
adhesive films and stick the large washers (7) onto
the adhesive films so that the screws can be screwed
into the thread unhindered through the washers.
Fixing the racing shell (Figures C and D)
1. Position the racing shell (1) between the adapters (5).
2. set the seat height by selecting the rear holes (a, b).
3. Fix the racing shell at the rear on the adapters (5)
with the spacer (8), small washer (9) and M8x30
screw (10). When doing this, only tighten the screws
hand-tight.
Aligning the racing shell (Figures C and D)
1. set the seat incline by selecting the front
holes (c, d, e).
2. Fix the racing shell (1) at the front on the adapters
(5) with the spacer (8), small washer (9) and M8x30
screw (10).
Final installation
tighten all 4 mounting screws (10) with a tightening
torque of 22 nm +2/–3 nm.

Risk of breakage!
serious injury if the racing shell detaches from its an-
choring.
use only the supplied micro-encapsulated screws
when installing the racing shell.
use the supplied micro-encapsulated screws only
once.
Tighten all screws with the specified torque.
3.4. Adapt the backrest cushion (Figures E and F)
Refer to Page 3 for the associated drawings.
there is a tapered cushion on the backrest for support-
ing the lumbar vertebrae. this enables the racing shell to
be adjusted to suit the driver's individual needs.
the default position is 200 mm below the top edge of the
rest cushion.
Pull the backrest cushion (4) firmly out of the back-
rest's Velcro fastener and move the tapered cushion.
