Hydraulic connection /
electrical connection
The system's internal electrical components have been wired at the factory.
Connect the system to the mains (230 V/AC, 50 - 60 Hz) using the attached
power cable. Any work performed on energised parts of the module must be
carried out exclusively in accordance with the requirements of the power supply
utility and relevant current standards and regulations. Correct earthing for the
FWS-2-60 is provided at the mounting lug.
Protect the drinking water side of the freshwater module against excess
pressure using a safety valve rated to
sion vessel can also be used as an alternative.
Connect the pipework as shown in the adjacent diagram. When using gal-
vanised pipes and fittings, observe the installation procedure for preventing
electrochemical corrosion.
Tighten flat gasket connections only after the pipes have been sealed in. For
example when mounting the FWS-2-60 on the wall, pipework to and from the
cylinder must be at least Cu 28 in order to ensure the necessary flow rate of
around 2800 l/h. Keep lines as short as possible.
CAUTION!
Avoid applying any tightening torque or forces to pre-mounted components
and connection points of the module.
