CAUTIoN:
• If you use extension cords, they should have a conductor
cross section of at least 1.5 mm².
• Do not route extension cables in case that children could
pull them or that they could become trip hazards.
Stand / Wall Bracket
The supplied stand serves to store the appliance safely while it
is hot and for storage when not in use.
CAUTIoN:
• The stand must stand securely on a sufficiently large
heat-resistant surface.
• If the stand is used as a wall bracket, it must be fastened
securely before use.
• The wall to which the stand is fastened must not be made
of a combustible material.
For use on a wall, fasten the bracket with the supplied screw
and dowel.
Use of the appliance
• Fill the grill pan halfway with charcoal or coal briquettes.
• Place the electric charcoal starter onto the charcoal or coal
briquettes up to the "
" mark (refer to the screw).
• Fill the grill pan with charcoal or coal briquettes.
CAUTIoN:
Check the position of the electric charcoal starter and the
power cable again before connecting it to the mains. It must
not fall out!
• Connect the power plug to a correctly installed safety
socket for 230 V, 50 Hz.
NoTE:
• The appliance starts operation immediately.
• Depending on the quantity and quality of the charcoal or
coal briquettes, the coals start to glow after approx.
10 minutes.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains before pulling it
from the coals.
• Use the handle to pull the appliance carefully from the grill
pan. Make sure that no coals drop out.
• Place the appliance onto the stand to let it cool down.
• If you have installed the stand in advance on a wall, hang
the appliance onto the wall bracket to cool down.
CAUTIoN:
The appliance is suited for use for short periods of max.
30 minutes. Let it cool for 30 minutes before using it again.
Cleaning
WARNING:
• Always pull out the plug from the mains socket before
cleaning and wait until the unit has cooled down.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the device
in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result
in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTIoN:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Always use the appliance a dry cloth to clean the appliance.
