CARE AND CLEANING
WARNING:

CLEANING THE BLENDER JUG
1. Empty the blender jug and rise it with warm water.
2. Place the blender jug on the motor block and ensure it is securely locked into position.
3. Fill the blender jug with 1 litre of warm soapy water (max. 60°C). The knife
should be covered with water. Close the blender jug with the lid. Turn the appli-
ance on using the Interval program. Let the motor run.
4. Turn the appliance off by turning the rotary switch to position ›0‹ (all buttons illu-
minations will go out), wait for the blade to stop moving, pull the plug out of the
power outlet and remove the blender jug off the motorblock.
5. Take the lid off the blender jug and pour out the water. Stubborn residues you
can remove using a nylon washing brush or sponge.

Solution
Either too much food is being chopped at one time or the pieces are not small enough.
Try cutting food into smaller pieces of even size and processing a smaller amount per
batch. For best results the food should be chopped into pieces no larger than 2cm.
The food is over processed. Use brief pulses or process for a shorter time.
Processing too much food. Turn the blender off and unplug the power cord. When the
knifes stop rotating, remove the blender lid and remove some food with a spatula.
Turn the rotary switch to the ›program‹ position (the three indicator lights flash blue).
Now the programs are selectable.
