The vacuuming of glowing
embers and of materials that
are combustible, explosive or
harmful to health is prohib-
ited. There is a risk of injury!
•
Place the equipment on a level surface
that is not heat sensitive.
•
Always use the suction tube (15) for
vacuuming. In case of minor con-
tamination, hold the suction tube (15)
approx. 1 cm above the ash. Remove
large ash volumes by directly immers-
ing the suction pipe.
•
Vacuum only cooled ash at less than
40°C.
•
When vacuuming, keep checking the
metal container (13) and suction hose
(14) for rises in temperature.
•
In the event of a rise in temperature,
switch off the equipment and discon-
nect at the plug. Place the equipment
outside and monitor it as it cools.
•
During breaks, you can place the suc-
tion hose (
15) in the suction tube
holder (
2) on the container lid (

•
Always use the carry handle (
transporting the equipment.

Insert the mains plug of the device
and turn the device on.
If the suction power decreases, you
can improve it by pressing the filter self-
cleaning controller (
Seal the suction port of the suction tube
(15) or the suction hose (14) (e.g. with a
large cloth or by pressing it on to the floor
of the fireplace).
Press the controller (
then turn it clockwise through
90° while holding it down.
Now release the controller.
Repeat the process 3 times.
