With Car Adaptor

NOTE:

The lithium cell in the battery compartment of the remote has been pro-
tected with plastic foil for transport. This extends the lifetime of the battery.
Before initial use, please remove this foil to prepare the remote control for
use.

The life span of enclosed batteries may be reduced due to storage.
1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the remote control.
2. Replace the cell with a battery of the same type (CR 2025). Pay attention to
the polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment again.
Remote Control Range
To use the remote control point it toward the remote control sensor located at
the front of the device. The distance between remote control and sensor should
not exceed 5 meters. The angle of the remote control to the sensor should not
exceed 30 degrees within right, left, above and below.
NOTE:
The signals of the remote control are transmitted to the DVD-Player by infrared
light. Ensure that the DVD-Player is not exposed to direct sunlight. This may ren-
der the signal transmittal from the remote control to the DVD-Player impossible.
Power Supply
NOTE:
You can alternatively operate the device with an AC adapter (AC adapter not
supplied).
Observe the following specifications when purchasing an AC adapter:
INPUT: 100 V – 240 V ~, 50 / 60 Hz, Polarity:
OUTPUT: 9 V
Use the 12 V car adaptor for vehicles with 12 V power supply, negative ground.
1. Connect the cigarette lighter adapter to the DC IN 9 – 12 V connector (Fig.
1/9).
Using both devices:
- Connect the cigarette lighter adapter plug to the DC IN 9 – 12 V connector
(Fig. 1/9).
- Connect the mains/AV cable to DC OUT / AV OUT connector from DVD
MONITOR (Fig. 1/10, 13) and DC IN / AV IN connector from LCD MONI-
TOR (Fig. 2/5, 3).
2. Now connect the plug to the cigarette lighter of your vehicle.

Only use this device with the genuine car adaptor, other adaptors can dam-
age the device.

Only use the genuine car adaptor for this device. Do not use for other units.
