Do not touch the mains cable, if it shows any signs of damage. First of all
switch off the mains socket to which the product is connected (e.g. switch off
the automatic fuse) and then pull the mains plug carefully out of the mains
socket. Then replace the mains cable by a new one with the same technical
details. It is not permitted to repair the damaged mains cable!
The device is not a toy and has no place in the hands of children. Children can-
not estimate the risks which can arise by the incorrect handling of electrical
appliances. Be particularly careful when children are present. They may try to
put objects into the device. There is risk of a fatal electric shock!
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. In the hands of child-
ren, plastic foil and/or bags and polystyrene parts etc. can turn into dangerous
toys.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employ-
er's Liability Insurance Associations for Electrical Systems and Operating Mate-
rials are to be observed.
In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the pro-
duct must be supervised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
