Controls and

Setting the
If your device is equipped with a selector switch, it will be able to perform a number of
selector switch
different functions (see rating plate):

„Wet" setting:
For charging liquid (Pb, gel, Ca, Ca silver) or fixed (AGM, MF, sealant) electrolyte batte-
ries that are used in starter or traction applications.
„Gel" setting:
For charging liquid (Pb, gel, Ca, Ca silver) or fixed (AGM, MF, sealant) electrolyte batte-
ries that are used in standby applications (e.g. emergency power systems) or at tempe-
ratures above 35°C.
Important! Do not charge dry batteries (primary cell) with this charger.
WARNING! An incorrectly set selector switch can lead to severe product
damage and poor results. Set selector switch according to the type of battery
used and/or battery voltage.
Charging voltage selector switch: e.g. 6/12 V or 12/24 V
Charging characteristic selector switch e.g. wet or gel battery
NOTE! Setting the selector switch incorrectly can result in the following:

Charger displays incorrect test results

Charger switches to „error"

Battery will not be fully charged

Vehicle power supply damaged (e.g. in back-up mode)
