12. Warranty
HBM Machines stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. This warranty is applicable to all products purchased directly from our company or authorised
retailers.
Limited Warranty:
Our products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years. During the warranty period, if a product is found to have a
manufacturing defect, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product, or provide a refund equal to the purchase price.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, accidents, normal wear and tear, acts of nature, or unauthorized
modifications or repairs. Additionally, this warranty does not cover damages or defects arising from non-compliance with our product instructions, specifications, or
recommended usage guidelines.
Claim Process:
To initiate a warranty claim, the original proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order number, will be required.
To determine if a product qualifies for warranty coverage, we may request additional information or evidence of the defect, such as photos or a return of the product. Contact our

Possible cause
• Loose plug.
• Protector is tripped.
• Power cord is damaged.
• Extension cord too light or too long.
• Motor is not wired to a proper voltage.
• Low current.
• Machine is placed on uneven floor.
• Motor mounts are loose.
• Tension spring is worn or broken.
• Belt is running in the wrong direction.
• Table is not square to sanding platen.
• Workpiece is held still.
• Wrong grit sanding belt.
• Feed pressure too high.
• Sanding against the grain.
Possible solution
• Check all plug connections.
• Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
• Replace cord.
• Replace extension cord with adequate size and proper length.
• Refer to motor junction box for proper wiring.
• Contact a qualified electrician.
• Adjust base so that it rests evenly on the floor.
• Tighten motor mount bolts.
• Replace tension spring.
• Belt should be running in the same direction as indicated by rotation label.
• Use a square to adjust table so that it is square to sanding platen.
• Keep workpiece moving.
• Use coarser grit for stock removal and fine grit for finish sanding.
• Never force workpiece into sanding platen.
• Sand with the grain.
