2.2 GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION FOR ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT
• ATTENTION! Read all of the safety information and instructions. Failure to follow the safety
information and instructions may lead to electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Ensure that water cannot get inside the appliance. Never immerse the device in water or other
liquids. Never expose it to rain.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains plug, power cord or any other part of the appliance is
defective or damaged.
• Do not use the device if it has previously been dropped.
• Do not use the device if there are visible signs of damage.
• Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling on the power cord.
• Never insert or remove the power plug with wet hands.
• This appliance may be used by children over the age of 8 and by individuals with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided that
they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance and
understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Do not allow children
to clean the appliance or carry out user maintenance without supervision.
• Do not use any electrical equipment in potentially explosive environments (e.g. in the presence
of flammable liquids, gases or dust). Electrical equipment produces sparks that can ignite dust
or exhaust fumes.
• Do not use the appliance in connection with a separate control timer, a separate remote control
system or other devices that automatically switch the appliance on.
• Keep children and other people away while you are operating the electrical appliance.
Distractions may lead to loss of control.
• The plugs of electrical equipment must be compatible with the socket. Never change the plug.
Do not use adapter plugs with earthed electrical equipment. Original plugs and matching
sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Use the cable only for its intended purpose. Never use the cable to carry, pull or unplug the
electrical equipment. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
Damaged or twisted cables increase the risk of electric shock.

RUNNING ON BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
PACKS
• The supplied batteries comply with Regulation 2023/1542/EU.
• Do not use damaged or modified rechargeable batteries or appliances. Defective or modified
batteries can be unpredictable and may cause fire, explosion and injury.
• Do not expose a battery or appliance to fire or excessive temperatures.
• Never make modifications to the appliance! Do not attempt to modify or repair the appliance
or batteries.
• In the event of battery leakage, remove the batteries from the product immediately to avoid
damage.
