Tow bar
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends that they are
fitted by a contractual partner.
The tow bar set with order no. 6V9 092 155 is designed for the Fabia Combi (NJ5).
The tow bar set with order no. 6V9 092 155A is designed for the
Fabia Combi ScoutLine (NJ5).
Please note: The figures in these instructions provide general fitting
information. The instructions describe and use figures to explain how
to fit the tow bar to the ŠKODA Fabia Combi (NJ5). The procedure for
fitting the tow bar to the ŠKODA Fabia Combi ScoutLine (NJ5) is the
same (see fig. 13 to 18). There is no need to make an opening in the
bumper for the tow bar because this area is cut away when the
ScoutLine rear bumper spoiler is fitted. Both the frame and the cover
are included in the ScoutLine rear bumper spoiler set with order no.
6V9 071 610B RGO.
Important
Retrofitting a tow bar to your vehicle increases the demand on its cooling system.
As a result, the cooling system parts have to be replaced in accordance with the informa-
tion held by workshop technicians in authorised ŠKODA AUTO specialist service centres.
The tow bar is used to couple trailers in accordance with the restrictions in the vehicle
registration certificate.
The tow bar has been manufactured according to approved documentation and complies
with homologation E8 55R-01 55707.
General data
The tow bar has been designed to comply with Czech and international regulations and has
passed the mandatory strength tests imposed by EU guidelines. The ball hitch is fitted with a
towball with a diameter of 50 mm.
