Before commissioning, check that the mains voltage and mains frequency
match the specifications on the rating plate. Voltage deviations of +6 % and
-10 % are permissible. Only use extension cables with a sufficient cross-
section. A cross-section that is too small can lead to excessive power loss
and overheating of the machine and cable.

▪
Set the cutting depth, see section 'Setting the cutting depth'.
▪
Place the glide shoe on the workpiece to be cut without the diamond disc
touching the workpiece.
▪
Then switch on the machine and wait until the diamond disc has reached
its full speed.
▪
The left side edge (13) of the guide carriage is aligned with the cutting
line of the workpiece.
▪
The tool is now guided flat and evenly over the workpiece surface until
the cut is complete.
▪
Maintain a straight cutting line and a constant feed speed to achieve
clean cuts.
▪
Guide rails (750 mm and 1500 mm) are available as accessories for pre-
cise cuts, especially for longer cutting lengths.
▪
Curved cuts are not possible with the diamond cutting disc included in
the scope of delivery, as otherwise the diamond cutting disc may jam in
the workpiece.
▪
Do not load the power tool so heavily that it comes to a standstill.
▪
Signs that the diamond cutting disc has become blunt are a clear slow-
down in work progress and a surrounding spark ring.
▪
You can re-sharpen the diamond cutting disc by making short cuts in
abrasive material, e.g. Eibenstock diamond sharpening stone or sand-
lime brick.
