Handling the deflection pulley
Own train:
The pulley is attached to a fixed object, e.g. a tree or a pillar (B). Attach the
cable winch (A) to a vehicle (e.g. to the trailer coupling) and the towing hook
e.g. to the vehicle to be rescued (C).
To be able to use the deflection pulley, the pulley screw must be loosened
and the cable of the motorized cable winch inserted. Then tighten the screw
again!
Using the pulley doubles the pulling force of the cable winch, as the fixed
point (tree, pillar, etc.) carries half of the load.

Foreign train:
The guide pulley is attached to the load to be pulled (C), the cable winch
(A) to the vehicle and the towing hook to a fixed point (B) with the smallest
possible angle to the cable winch.
