• Do not use the product either for deep-frozen
food or for food containing bones, fish bones,
pips, seeds or stones.
• Do not apply force if the hinged lid will not
fully close. Otherwise this may damage the
product.
• Keep a sufficient distance away from heat
sources (e.g. stove tops) and open flame to
prevent damaging the product.
Use
CAUTION. Risk of injury!
Do not hold the attachments by the blades
or cutting edges. The blades are very sharp.
Note: Whenever possible use the food rem-
nants holder (2) to hold smaller pieces of food
securely in place. This helps to avoid injuries,
particularly when using the julienne attachment
(9), the grating attachment (10) or the attach-
ment for thin slices (11).
Note: The product must be cleaned after use
each time. Use the cleaning comb (3) to clean
the pressure plate of the hinged lid (1b).
Note: Some foods contain strong natural col-
ourants that can cause discolouration of plastic
parts. This does not affect their function.
Attachments (6-8)
For cutting up soft foods such as eggs, sausage
and cooked vegetables.
Note: Before using, cut the food into slices of
the desired thickness. Make sure that there is
enough space around the cutting surfaces so
that food cannot get caught on the edge of the
knife.
1. Lift the hinged lid (1b) and place the holder
for the attachments (4) on the collecting tray
(1a).
2. Take the desired attachment and position it in
the holder until it snaps in.
Note: Use the recess in the holder in order to
take the attachment out.
3. Lay the food on the cutting surface and press
the hinged lid down.
Note: If the hinged lid does not fully close, do
not apply force to press it down. The product
may otherwise become damaged.
Julienne attachment (9)
For slicing foods such as potatoes, carrots and
cucumbers into thin strips.
Grating attachment (10)
For grating foods such as potatoes, carrots,
cucumbers, radishes and cheese.
Attachment for thin slices (11)
For slicing foods such as potatoes, cucumbers
and radishes.
Removing the hinged lid
1. Raise the hinged lid (1b) into the vertical
position.
2. Remove the holder for the attachments (4)
from the collecting tray (1a).
3. Hold the collecting tray firmly with one hand
and pull the hinged lid upwards to remove it.
