When selecting the workpiece, pay
attention to branches, knots or cracks;
they are at a risk of bursting. Use wood
without cracks, knots or large branches.

Assembly instructions
Assembling the
woodturning bench
1. Remove the end piece of the guide rail
(3.1).
2. Slide the tailstock (6) backwards off the
guide rail (3).
3. Now push the lower part of the tool
rest (2.2) onto the guide rail (3).
4. Slide the tailstock (6) for the tool rest
(2) onto the guide rail (3).
Check by pulling upwards whether the
tailstock (6) and the lower part of the
tool rest (2.2) are correctly inserted.
5. Place the end piece of the guide rail
(3.1) back on the guide rail (3).
Mounting the tool rest
1. Insert the tool rest (2) into the hole on
the lower part of the tool rest (2.2).
2. Fix the tool rest (2) with the screw (2.1)
for height adjustment.
Setting up the
woodturning machine
1. Place the woodturning machine on a
solid surface.
2. Screw the woodturning machine to the
base. To do this, use the 8 slotted holes
(17.1) below the guide rail (3). See il-
lustration
.
3. You can use the supplied mounting
screws (17) for this.
Installing/changing the
workpiece mounts
Switch off the device and unplug the
mains plug.
Mounting the 4-edge lathe centre
1. If necessary, loosen the face plate
(13). Hold the drive shaft (18) using
the open-end spanner (16.1) and re-
move the face plate (13) from the drive
shaft (18).
2. Hold the drive shaft (18) with the open-
end spanner (16.1).
3. Tighten the 4-edge lathe centre (1) onto
the drive shaft (18) using a second
open-end spanner (16.2).
For lathing e.g. bowls or pots, you have
to use the face plate (13) instead of the
4-edge lathe centre point (1).
Mounting the face plate
1. If necessary, loosen the 4-edge lathe
centre (1). Place the open-end wrench
(16.1) on the drive shaft (18) and the
open-end wrench (16.2) on the 4-edge
lathe centre (1), then remove the
4-edge lathe centre (1).
2. Hold the drive shaft (18) with the open-
end spanner (16.1).
