4.2.1

The Serial Interface Of The VSH82

The VSH82 transducer is equipped with a serial RS485 interface. To enable
communication via RS485 please remove the rubber cap over the address
switch (1) and then set the address switch to a value between 1 and 15 using a
small screw driver or a similar tool (2). Afterwards insert the rubber cap again.
Communication is carried out according to the Thyracont protocol, detailed
information hereto is provided in a separate description.
