4.0 Transport
ATTENTION! Always check delivery for completeness and damage! The carrier (forwarder or railway) is to be
informed immediately in case of transport damages. (s. yellow leaflet)
5.0 Setting up the machine
The drill should be set up on a solid base and aligned using a spirit level. If the machine is to be bolted to the base,
it should be ensured that the base plate does not warp in the process.
6.0 Installation
The machine has been installed ready for use. Please check whether type of current, current voltage and fusing
agree with the prescribed values. There must be a protective earth terminal. Mains fusing 10 A.
Attention! Take notice of the right rotation (right-hand) of spindle.
7.0 Commissioning
The parts with rust-inhibiting coating should be cleaned carefully. The column should then be lubricated. The head
should be moved several times since condensation may have formed in the head guide.
8.0 Switching the machine On and Off
Insert plug into socket. The machine can be switched on or off using the two push-buttons on the front.
9.0 Changing speed
After the machine has been switched on, the spindle speed of the machine can be adjusted on the
potentiometer (6). The set speed will be shown on the dia
Attention! Do not forcefully overturn the potentiometer. l.
10.0 Adjusting the drilling depth
without limit stop: The drilling depth is shown on the scale of the stop ring (29).
with limit stop: Place drilling tool with drill lever (26) onto the workpiece. Push stop ring (29) axially to the left and
set the required drilling depth.
11.0 Adjusting the head
The drill head (1) is adjusted as follows for work - pieces or tools of different heights. Unscrew the clamping lever
(36). Take hold of the bottom of the drill head (1) near the column and adjust the drill head upwards or down-wards
Optional use the hand-wheel (40). Tighten the clamping lever (37).
