GENERAL SETTINGS
1. Press the configuration button to open the "Quick menu".
2. Navigate to the gear symbol and press the OK button.
3. Now select the "General" menu item and press the ► button to switch to the menu.
4. You now have access to the following menu items.
Accessibility
Select the digital audio output format. If the program does not support the
selected output format, the standard output of the source is used.
MPEG
Dolby Digital
Dolby Digital Plus
HE-AAC
Auto
Adjust the audio timing manually to synchronize picture and sound.
TV Speaker Delay
Bypass
Select the audio format according to the HDMI input method.
Bitstream
PCM
Select the format in which the digital sound from the TV is to be transmitted to an
external device. If you select "Pass through", you can retain the original sound
quality, but the sound will not be output to other devices that do not support this
option. Select another output from the menu, for example "Auto" or "PCM", if no
sound should be heard after you have selected "Pass through". Some sound
effects are not implemented even if the sound is output.
Extend the reception frequency if the HDMI (ARC) audio device supports eARC.
This will give you a fuller and more vivid sound.
Set up the TV so that it meets your individual requirements and gives you a better
experience.
Audio Guidance
Viewers with impaired vision can operate the TV's menus and functions using
their voice. Once you have switched this function on, you can set the exact voice
assistance. Only for devices with Magic Remote.
Audio Description
Describes the content on the screen so that viewers with impaired vision can use
the TV. This function is only active if it is supported by the program being
broadcast.
Audio Description Volume
Volume setting for the audio description. Only active if "Audio description" is
active.
Learn Remote Control
This describes the function with speech when you press buttons on the remote
control.
Enjoy TV Sound Together
This function allows audio to be output simultaneously via the TV speaker and the
audio device so that people with varying degrees of hearing impairment can
watch TV together. For HDMI (ARC) devices, a hearing aid transmitter is
recommended.
