• Secure the workpiece. A workpiece
held with a clamping fixture or a vice
is more securely held than with your
hand, and you have both hands free
to guide the machine securely.
• Do not work on damp materials, e.g.
wallpaper or damp areas.
• Do not use liquids containing solvent
to dampen the surfaces to be worked
on. The heat generated while working
may generate toxic vapours.
• Never machine material containing
asbestos!
• Keep appliance and tools away from
children.
• Do not allow persons under 16 years
of age to use the machine.
• Observe general safety instructions
for handling power tools!

ATTENTION! Always unplug
before changing bits!
ATTENTION! Wear safety gloves
when changing tools! Risk of
injury from sharp-edged tools!
Inserting tools
ATTENTION! Switch off the
appliance, pull out the mains
plug!
Unlock tool lock switch (1) as shown in
Fig. 2.
For this push the slide switch back until
the letters "UNLOCK" are visible.
Insert tool insert into the tool fixture (2)
by the perforated shank as far as the
stop, as shown in Figs. 4 to 7.
Push lock switch forward until the
letters "LOCK" are visible in order to
lock the tool in the appliance.
Removing a tool
Set lock switch to "UNLOCK" as shown
in Fig. 2 and pull the tool out of the tool
fixture.
Speed selector
ATTENTION! Adjust stroke-speed
without material contact.
The stroke-speed selector (3)
enables the motor speed to be
adjusted continuously to suit the
